Room 6 and 7 had an awesome break! They came back to school and shared with the class what they did in the school holidays! Then they drew two pictures and wrote about them. They also dyed their art and made it look very colourful!

Matariki Art
Room 6 and 7 did Sgraffito art for Matariki in the last week of term 2! We read the story Matariki breakfast and then coloured our paper with pastels! Then we painted over with black and scratched out the 7 Matariki stars! They look amazing!

We blew some bubbles and talked about what we had done at home and who we were with in "OUR BUBBLE!" We then painted a rainbow- a symbol of hope and put our art together!
