Learning through Play

Dre and Lane were making bows and arrows from our class junk box today.When the bow would not work they came up with the idea of making a slingshot/ catapult! They then got some chalk and drew some targets to to see who could get their arrow to land on a target! 

Room 6 Holiday Pictures and Writing

Room 6 did some Crayon and Dye pictures of their adventures in the holidays. We used our pictures as our plan to write some interesting stories. We all tried to write more than 1 sentence, use a joining word and use some interesting describing words. That was in addition to remembering to use capital letters, full stops, spaces between our words, sounding out unknown words and spelling our Clown card words correctly! These are on display in our classroom - please come in and have a look!
