Science in a Van
Today science in a Van visited Dairy Flat School.
We are learning about Forces and Energy. We started off experimenting with balancing and talking about gravity. We tried out a bit of friction.
We then participated in the 3 Billy Goats Gruff story - with a few twists!
Big Billy Goat Gruff used the force of pushing using our combined strength.
Middle sized Billy Goat Gruff used the force of pulling -reducing the friction by using a slippery piece of material.
Little Billy Goat Gruff used the force of pushing BUT reduced the friction by using something on wheels!
We all enjoyed our learning and the show!
